CHECK THIS OUT (#23)
Dreams…
While others had previously formulated the idea of mechanical sewing machines, Elias Howe was the inventor of the lock-stitch design. He was awarded the first US Patent for his invention in 1846. While in the tinkering stage, he couldn’t figure out where to place the the eye in the needle. One account of how he figured it out, was that it came to him in a dream. A scary dream! He was being attacked by cannibals with spears (yikes!), and just before he woke up, as a spear was coming toward him, he saw that there was a hole at the pointed tip of the spear. “Aha! That’s where I’ll put the hole in the needle!”

DampRid: be careful!
A customer of mine showed me a bag that was KILLED by DampRid in her closet. What was formerly a beautiful buttery-soft black leather bag, turned into a crumpled irregular heap of hard “leather” mass. BEWARE.
